In this Crash Course Lecture Series, I have taken my 6 years and 2500+ hours of Virginia Tech engineering tutoring experience and condensed it into a comprehensive and practical course that will benefit all engineers who will be taking Statics, Deforms, Dynamics, Multivariable Calculus, or Differential Equations currently or in the future. After the crash courses, you will go into each course knowing how to solve essential problems in all of the major topics and understand all the concepts before the professor teaches them.

I find too often that students don’t know why they are learning something or how it relates to future classes or career. Some professors are too focused on getting the material over to you and giving you the test … sound familiar? I will teach you how to think like an engineer, which means being able to break down complicated problems into simple pieces that you already know how to do! I recognize that students value simplicity and logic over complicated derivations and memorized processes. I will teach you the simplest way that has helped my students become successful for the past 6 years.

By the end of each course, you will know how to approach fundamental problems in each of the major topics and explain why they are relevant in engineering. The courses are also designed be used as a reference when you are taking the full version of the course as well, so don’t be afraid if you don’t pick everything up the first time you see it! My hope is that you have the “ah-ha that’s why Scott explained it that way” moment when you take the real course.

My course is hosted on Udemy, which is much like Canvas. It allows me to manage the course just like a professor. Students can ask questions, make comments, and track their progress through this platform. Additionally, the courses are all lifetime access, have downloadable notes and practice problems (with solutions) and are offered at a much lower price than before – only $99 per course.
